Cardlytics adds card-linked offers to Rove travel rewards

Development analysis

What changed, why it matters, and what leaders should watch.

What changed

Cardlytics announced a partnership with Rove that gives Rove members access to the Cardlytics Rewards Platform's personalized, card-linked offers. Members can link a payment card and earn Rove Miles automatically on eligible purchases, adding an everyday-spend path to Rove's flight, hotel, shopping and dining earning routes without requiring a travel credit card.

Loyalty and rewards implications

The partnership joins a flexible travel currency to merchant-funded, card-linked earning, widening the rewards proposition beyond co-brand cardholders and travel bookings. Banks and credit unions should view it as evidence that valuable offer inventory and friction-light card linking can be distributed through non-bank loyalty ecosystems, increasing competition for everyday payment engagement and merchant-funded reward budgets.
