Impact Credit Union sunsets QuickPerks as it converts debit and credit card rewards

Development analysis

What changed, why it matters, and what leaders should watch.

What changed

Impact Credit Union says its QuickPerks debit rewards program ends on September 20 as part of a debit and credit card conversion. The credit union will issue new card numbers, launch Impact Rewards on September 21, transfer existing ScoreCard points, and set transferred-point expiry for September 2029; newly earned points will expire after three years.

Loyalty and rewards implications

This is a concrete example of a rewards-platform transition where point continuity is only one part of the member experience. Banks and credit unions should pair balance migration with activation, digital-wallet provisioning, recurring-payment remediation, and clear expiry communications, then measure retained card usage and payment continuity after the conversion.
